“There is an actor. I’m not sure we want to announce it yet.”

This is one of the main things we learned from an interview with Kevin Feige he did this week. Him having said this creates a lot speculation if the Thanos we might see in GotG will be actually played by the real casted actor; so the bigger question is, who did he cast? They haven’t decided when to reveal the casting but it is a secret very much under wraps and it could only mean the news are very juicy, cannot wait for them to reveal this casting.

“It was two things – a story Edgar wanted to tell that we’ll see with Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd, and now we’re 11 films in, it’s looking at the characters we’ve already introduced who already have the technology and the brains to do…certain things. We changed, frankly, some of the MCU to accommodate this version of ‘Ant-Man.’ Knowing what we wanted to do with Edgar and with ‘Ant-Man,’ going years and years back, helped to dictate what we did with the roster for ‘Avengers’ the first time. It was a bit of both in terms of his idea for the ‘Ant-Man’ story influencing the birth of the MCU in the early films leading up to ‘Avengers.’ "

This was another thing he mentioned, which is really cool because Ant-Man has been a project that has been on the works longer than all the other movies. Ant-Man could possibly have influenced a lot of what we have seen so far and that is a really cool thing to at least think about. I love Edgar Wright’s movies and I cannot wait to see what he does with this property, hearing Feige say this words amps my excitement.
