In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Greg Silverman, the president of worldwide production at Warner Bros, has confirmed that after the upcoming Man of Steel sequel we will be seeing a Justice League movie hit the big screen. Finally! Also, Zack Snyder will be returning to direct the film. My apologies to those of you rooting for Christopher Nolan to direct this one (maybe he'll produce?). Silverman stated "It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman vs. Batman will lead right into Justice League." Wait, so there calling it Superman vs. Batman now?!?

So far, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg (played by Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Ray Fisher respectively) are set to appear in the sequel to 2013's Man of Steel, which is currently scheduled for a May 6th, 2016 release date. Justice League is rumored for a May 5th, 2017 release date.
