I've been told I'm banned from using puns, so I will attempt to curb my Electro-fying humor... henceforth.

The world wide web is spinning with excitement for the hotly anticipated [The Amazing Spider-Man 2](movie:508593) this week.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

If there were a movie to knock [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973) off its high horse, I would've bet on this one. However, polarizing early reviews have put that hypothesis into question.

Will this be the Marvel flop that DC is waiting (ever so patiently) for? Or will cynics just be cynics?

Let us know in a post! A 'Top List' style would be cool: '5 Reasons ASM2 is worth the watch'/ '5 Reasons ASM2 spun a web of lame' etc etc.

And from lame to shame...

Walk of Shame

I'm quite a big fan of Elizabeth Banks as a comedy actress, so I'm happy to spend 2 hours of my time watching her run like a pro...fessional in heels and fall over a lot.

A topic in the movie business that is often overlooked is women in comedy. I have my faves (Tina Fey, Amy Poehler...), but I want to hear from you:

Who are the funniest women in movies/ TV?

Love these ladies!

From bad-ass women to kick-ass martial arts: one name... TONA JAA!

The Protector 2

I, for one, will watch any movie that stars this amazing man. I'm almost convinced that this guy is from another planet; his skills are supernatural at the very least! He does all his own stunts, and can quite literally run over the shoulders of 12 men with apparent ease.

Check this out:

Seriously though, his precision and agility give me goosebumps every time. And yet, he always comes across as such a gentle soul...

Went on a bit of a journey there, but it was worth it.

Speaking of superheroes, guess which Amazonian princess turns 29 this week?

Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot

Personally, I'm a little bit tired of the haters suggesting that Ms. Gadot is 'too skinny to play Wonder Woman'. We've all seen the magic that can happen when personal trainers and celebrities get together. Example? Sure!

  Well hello there, Star-Lord!
Well hello there, Star-Lord!

We've seen this time and time again, and Gadot has already proven she's up for the challenge! What are some other transformative roles in movie history? That would make a great post, just sayin'.

Well, I think my work is done here for today.

As always, let me know if you have any questions, concerns or puns to add to my collection (admittedly, I am running low).

Until next time.
