NASA have released footage of the popular hero of the rebellion, astromech droid R2-D2, saving the International Space Station from an Imperial plot. The Empire had threatened a message from the station, and only the intervention of the heroic robot foiled what would have been a major disruption.

Sadly, we don't live in a world where that's all actually happening - it's all just part of a promotional video for Star Wars day this May 4th - but the video still alternates between being totally awesome and too cute for words.

Plus, we get to see an actual astronaut talk about Star Wars - from space. Which is always a good thing.
