The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality head mounted display that allows its wearers to move their heads around as if they were within the game they play.

There is a lot of hype about the gadget, which is expected to be released in late 2014 or early 2015. So much in fact that Facebook agreed to buy the company for a potential $700 million, with another $1.7 billion in Facebook stock.

But just how realistic is the Oculus Rift? Well, as you can see in this video, it seems it is realistic enough to freak out a fat Russian guy pretty badly.

Take a look at the video here, and see a man try on the headset to play a roller-coaster simulator - and the mullet wearing prankster behind him gives the man a well-timed shove:

So what do you think? Is the Oculus Rift really that realistic, or is the man just being a drama queen?
