Zach Snyder is currently attached to the Justice League movie and Batman vs. Superman. The Justice League movie is apparently coming out on May 5, 2017. Batman Vs. Superman comes out in Summer 2016. Until ComicCon 2013, when Batman Vs. Superman was announced, the Justice League's rumored release date was around that same ballpark. That's not to much of a push, right? Well, this change is not the first delay of the production hell dweller that is Batman Vs. Superman. This bids the question that a lot of people have been asking. Will we ever get a Justice League movie?
Now, we are set to get plenty of our favorite heroes in [Batman vs. Superman](movie:711870) including the titular heroes, [Wonder Woman](movie:45787), and the newly announced Cyborg. All of these superheroes are members of the Justice League in the current comics. We'll also be getting the controversially cast Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. There are a lot of heroes in this and an A list villain. When Wonder Woman was announced, a lot of people considered the idea of Batman Vs Superman being a cover for a Justice League movie. Of course, it has been confirmed that it is not.
We're finally getting a cast, so that's something. We haven't got a full roster but there is a director. That, of course, is not a surprise. Zach Snyder is heading up the majority of DC's films at the moment. When Snyder announced the BvS movie at last year's ComiCon, I didn't see it coming. I think that I'm just a hopeful. I want to see a Justice League movie more than I want to see any other movie (besides a Hawkeye movie, which I'll probably write about next.) So, will it happen? I think so. The casting has always been the problem and now there are not only 5 actors but also a director. Fingers crossed.
