Though Mystique is wandering around naked, Bryan Singer's

X-Men: Days of Future Past will manage to dodge an R-rating thanks to Jennifer Lawrence's shape-shifting mutant wearing some artfully-placed artificial scales over her naturally blue-skinned form.

But what about the PG-13 rating that the latest movie in the X-Men franchise just received from the MPAA? Technically Lawrence will be covered in blue paint and prosthetics, so what does this reference to nudity refer to?

X-Men: Days Of Future Past Rated PG-13 For sequences of intense sci-fi violence and action, some suggestive material, nudity and language.

The time-travelling comic book film sees Lawrence's character of Mystique assume the persona of '70s femme fatale Raven Darkholme, who looks like her American Hustle character... That's what millions of red-blooded guys the world over are probably hoping for.

What are your theories, kids? Sound off below!

Don't forget - X-Men: Days Of Future Past arrives in theaters on May 23, 2014.
