Actor Bob Hoskins who is most famous for his roles in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "Super Mario Brothers" and "Hook" has sadly passed away at the age of 71. He was suffering from Pneumonia and complications from Parkinsons disease. Hoskins' last film was "Snow White & The Huntsman" in 2012 before he retired.

This is such a tragedy. I had no idea that Bob Hoskins was sick at all so this news came as a shock.

My favorite role of Hoskins' was "Smee" from Steven Spielberg's "Hook", a very underrated film and he was my favorite character in the film, he and Dustin Hoffman had such great chemistry as Smee and Hook.

Hoskins was such a fantastic performer who will be sorely missed by many in the film community.

R.I.P Bob Hoskins.
