Just a few days ago, it was conformed that Lou Ferrigno would reprise his voice role as Hulk in Avengers Age of Ultron. Today he has made Marvel news again by announcing on a local Minnesota radio station (AM Minnesota) that Marvel is planning another solo Hulk film after the next Avengers. Ferrigno said: “"Now because he saved the day they're making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out."

A sequel to 2008’s The Incredible Hulk has been up in the air for quite some time. Time and time again it has been denied that another Hulk film is in production. Perhaps it was due to Ed Norton’s arguably unreasonable demands and bitter departure from the franchise that gave it a bad taste in Marvel’s mouth. Perhaps it was just because they couldn’t find a way to continue the Hulk’s story.

Of course, nothing’s official until Marvel itself makes an announcement, but this news is quite hopeful for those who want another Hulk movie. I remember when the first one came out and everybody loved it, as opposed to Ang Lee’s misguided attempt in 2003.

Honestly, I would love to see another Hulk movie, especially if Mark Ruffalo reprises his role as the not-so-jolly green giant (I apologize if that sounded corny). Hulk was given so much development in The Avengers and I recall him as being a crowd favorite. Hopefully, the veteran actor’s words will be true, but for now, we can look forward to Hulk returning in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
