The second oldest horror icon behind Leatherface, mass murderer Michael Myers is set to return to the big screen with the help of The Weinstein Company as recent reports are confirming that Weinstein bros Bob and Harvey are once more trying to get Halloween 3D of the ground.
The movie was originally envisioned as a second sequel to Rob Zombie's 2007 slasher Halloween, but it's not yet clear if that's still the case or this will be yet another reboot.
John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween is still seen as the ultimate slasher flick. It introduced us to the five-year-old murderer Michael Myers who 15 years later escaped from the state asylum to his midwestern home town, there to don the infamous mask and terrorize high school kids on Halloween night... Ahh, memories.
Halloween 3D is gonna be gruesome, Myers is going to be scary, and lots of pretty people are going to die. Will you checking out this bloodbath? Sound off below.
