Are you ready for another murderous, multicolored wedding? Al Jean and Matt Selman - Executive Producers for The Simpsons - have suggested that if you aren't already, you may have to be soon.

Talking about the widely-anticipated upcoming death in The Simpsons - now expected in the Season 26 premiere - Jean revealed to TV Line that “this is going to be a bigger deal than [SPOILER] on Game of Thrones – the Yellow Wedding!”

He went on to reveal some more details about who should be looking over their shoulder, adding:

“The character that dies is portrayed by an actor who won an Emmy for playing that character. People who reported on it then reported we were killing an ‘iconic’ character; I’d like to say it’s a great character, but I never used the word ‘iconic.’ It’s a terrific character...”

The internet has been awash with rumors about who it'll be - and many think they've already worked out the answer. The big question, though, is whether the 'Yellow Wedding' tag suggests an actual wedding, or is just a gag on Jean and Selman's parts.

What do you guys think? Will the Yellow Wedding match up to its Red and Purple predecessors? Let me know below!
