I'm going to see my first X-men movie since "The Last Stand" and there is only one reason behind it. Her name is Jennifer Lawrence. Who doesn't want a piece of Hollywood's it-girl right now? With the great successes of the Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle: everything she touches right now turns to gold. It may be too late to turn to Lawrence in these upcoming film, but I'm going to take a look at some struggling franchises that J-Law could save.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

This franchise has gone steadily downhill since the fantastic original movie. I personally am losing more and more interest in Jack Sparrow with every one of these movies Johnny Depp puts on his shoulder's. But what if you throw Keira Knightley's old pirate wardrobe on Jennifer Lawrence? Depp and Lawrence together at last? YES PLEASE!

Terminator: Genesis

Arnold is coming back, but is that enough? Not quite! Add Jennifer Lawrence to the movie as either the strong female lead or an evil robot antagonist and voila! Either way you go, if she were to land a leading role in Terminator I'd be purchasing my ticket early!

Resident Evil

This franchise does not need a part six. It needs a complete makeover. What better way to take advantage of the zombie craze going on than by adding it with Jennifer Lawrence? Throw her out there as the ass-kicking leading lady and this movie is sure to sell a lot of tickets!

Jurassic World

The dinosaur franchise has been out of commission for thirteen years after a lack-luster part 2 and 3. They are trying to bring it back in 2015 with [Jurassic World](movie:32752). I haven't heard anything about the film yet, but just imagine J-law getting chased around by a t-rex! I can get behind that!

Men in Black 4

Will Smith will not be returning for the fourth instalment of the film franchise. This leaves a hole that needs to be filled with some star power. Could the alien slaying men in black get their first woman in black? And her name is Jennifer Lawrence? Yes! That needs to happen.

Chronicles of Narnia

This franchise of books turned movies never took off like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or Hunger Games. I don't know who Lawrence would play in the movies, and I don't care. It would at least be worth a try to save that magical land.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3

Okay, Spider-Man made close to 92 million dollars in its opening weekend so it doesn't exactly need saving, but if it wants to push itself to the level of the Avengers, Iron Man, and Captain America, there is no better way to do it than by casting Lawrence as Mary Jane Watson in [The Amazing Spider-Man 3](movie:671279). She would make us completely forget Kirsten Dunst and maybe even be a better love interest than Emma Stone's Gwen Stacey.

Star Wars: Episode VII

Same goes for Star Wars as Spider-Man. Its going to make money, and a lot of it! But casting so far has been met with mixed reviews. Imagine if you heard Jennifer Lawrence was going to play Han and Leia's lightsaber wielding daughter, with Uncle Luke as her Jedi Master. It would create enough hype that we wouldn't care who they cast next. They could cast Miley Cyrus as the villain for all we care! (wait, that fight would actually be kind of awesome!)
