Michael Bay and Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot hasn't had an easy time convincing fans to embrace its existence - but a fair number of people, myself included, are starting to come around.

Now, some new concept art has leaked online from what appears to be an official an official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles book and - although terrible quality - we get to see a couple of new shots of Raphael, Donnatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, April, Shredder and Splinter.

Take a look at this lot and see if any of it convinces you that perhaps, at least visually, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is looking pretty solid:

The biggest takeaway is probably a glimpse of the Ninja Turtles' mutant rat sensei, Splinter, who we now know will be voiced by Tony Shalhoub. He's looking kinda old, but thankfully doesn't look like a mole, like his official toy counterpart. Shredder, on the other hand, looks more like a walking Gillette commercial than the menacing leader of the Foot Clan. Perhaps he just got sick of all those pigeons landing on him...

Does everything about this movie make you want to bawl your eyes out while in the fetal position, or are you enjoying the designs so far? Drop your comments below!

Don't forget - The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot arrives in theaters August 8, 2014.
