In the upcoming Age of Ultron movie, one of the scenes may take place in the African nation of Wakanda (home of the Black Panther,) if filming locations are any clue. Wakanda is also home to the largest deposit of Vibranium in the world. If Ultron, in his mission to rid the world of organic sentient life manages to armor plate himself in Vibranium, then it's game over for the Avengers. Even Thor's Hammer Mjolnir was unable to break it in the previous movie, creating a shock wave that leveled the forest surrounding them.
This leads me to ask the question: What if Tony Stark forges a new suit of armor made from Vibranium? It would be stronger than any suit he has made before (except maybe Hulkbuster.)
We already know that Tony Stark knows how to synthesize Vibranium (he made the arc reactor from Vibranium in the Iron Man 2 movie.) I wish they would have been a little clearer about that in the movie but if you look up Marvel.com Iron Man wiki under the plot synopsis of Iron Man 2 it explains "After a hungover conversation with Nick Fury and treatment from Natasha Romanoff, Stark begins researching his father's notes of a new element. With J.A.R.V.I.S.' help, he "rediscovers" and synthesizes Vibranium, which is capable of a higher energy output and solves the poisoning problem."
So if Tony Stark knows he must go up against a neigh indestructible Ultron made of Vibranium, then he may very well build his own suit made of Vibranium (perhaps something similar to what was shown above- which was a concept suit from [Iron Man 3](movie:24391))
In the set photos from [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035), he is shown wearing a variation of the MK 42 suit (but with more red than gold) MK 42 was the prototype suit he wore for much of Iron Man 3 but was hardly battle ready and lacked the offensive weaponry his older battle tested suits had.
Hopefully in this movie, his armor can withstand the kind of punishment that Ultron and his minions will dish out.
So what do you think?
