If the recent trailer for upcoming Fox series Gotham wasn't enough to whet your appetite, then the latest information from the Network's PR people just might.

Two-Face is coming to television - and the Joker's coming with him.

The most recent synopsis released for the show has revealed that the two long-time Bat-foes will both feature in the show - before they become their criminal mastermind selves. With Two-Face, whose origins lie in the well-meaning legal crusader Harvey Dent, this is obviously a natural fit - expect he and Ben McKenzie's James Gordon to strike up a (ultimately doomed) friendship. The Joker, though, is a tougher nut to crack - after Heath Ledger's iconic performance in The Dark Knight, any interpretation short of brilliance will be heavily criticized, especially one that defines his origins explicitly.
