HBO might be ending True Blood later this year, however that doesn't mean the network also wants the working relationship between its stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer to come to a close.
The real-life couple, who met while filming True Blood in 2007, have since established themselves as HBO veterans - appearing the popular long-running vampire series as Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse. They'll be finishing their stories in this final season, however The Daily Mail are now reporting the pair have been asked to stay with HBO for another two years.
It's still unclear if HBO want the couple to once again reunite on screen in another show, or if they simply want the actor and actress for separate projects, but this deal does at least mean Moyer and Paquin will be sticking at the network.
Recently, the couple established their own production company, CASM, and have been increasingly moving into writing and directing. Paquin is due to direct an adaptation of an Anna Stothard novel, Pink Hotel, while Moyer has taken the job of directing Columbia, a new movie written by Denis O'Hare.
What do you think? Are you glad the couple are staying at HBO?
