Video game's don't have the best track record when it comes to being adapted for the big screen, but I have high hopes Duncan Jones' Warcraft could be set to break the mold.
And we won't have long to wait until we can lay eyes on some footage from the movie, with the trailer set to debut at this year's Comic-Con. Here's what producer Thomas Tull said about screening footage at the event:
We show up every summer at Comic-Con – we really enjoy it, and the fans seem to enjoy taking a look at things, so I wouldn’t be surprised.
Tull also revealed the focus of [Warcraft](movie:477059) will be on two tribes:
With a great cast, there’s a lot of folks to follow, so I’d look more in that direction because there’s so many talented people working on it… We’re very aware of the fact that in the mythology of Warcraft, there are two tribes – two big things to follow. We think you’re going to get a chance to look at both.
Sounds to me like he's talking about the Alliance and the Horde.
Whose side are you on?
