Dazzling in front of the camera clearly isn't enough for the hyper-ambitious KStew, and now she is making her directorial debut with an ultra-hip music video.

The denim brand Buffalo David Bitton offered Stewart a fist full of dollars to "embark on a new creative journey". Being the hip gal that she is, the 24-year-old actress went on an adventure with her friend Sage Galesi of the country-rock outfit Sage + the Saints and directed a brand new music video.

The star opened up to Rolling Stone magazine about her experiences flip reversing to the other side of camera, and she revealed a lot more of her vulnerable side than usual.

The [American Ultra](movie:1165829) star explained that;

I've been saying I want to direct movies since I was 10 years old and then I started making movies and working with such incredible people that I realized what I was up against. So it was like, no way, now I'm gonna get more attention than I ever should just because of who I am. Basically, I'm grateful to Sage, because she was like, ‘I have this little thing, no one could tell the story better than you. . .just do it and stop being such a pussy

Who knew such a superstar could be so apprehensive about embarking on a new journey? I guess KStew is savvy enough to realize there are always haters out there looking to slam her efforts.

The star went on to explain what she wanted from her dive into directorial territory. She told interviewers at Rolling Stone that;

We wanted it to feel like a glimpse of her (Sage's) life. And that's f***ing hard. As soon as you start rolling, everyone turns into deer in the headlights

It looks like she confronted those issues though, check out the trailer below and see the Nashville, Tennessee adventure yourself;

Kristen didn't need to worry about her directing abilities though, Sage Galesi was singing her praises from the rooftops once the project was over. She waxed poetic that;

She was a natural. She was good at not over-directing, but making sure that certain beats were captured, and telling me which moments they were going for

I never doubted you, Kristen!

As a bonus feature, check out these cool behind the scenes pics of Kstew having a blast on set;

I'm glad she looks so happy trying out a new direction, and I can't wait to see more of her behind the camera efforts in the future?

What do you think of Kristen Stewarts brave foray into the world of directing?
