Lily Allen turned down incestuous role in hit TV series Game of Thrones due to “too much incest”.

Lily Allen, who has recently made a comeback into the music industry landing her second UK number one album, has revealed that she turned down hit series Game of Thrones. During a recent Reddit AMA session, the “Hard Out Here” singer revealed she was asked to star opposite her brother, Alfie, who plays Theon Greyjoy.

Allen was requested to appear as his on-screen sister, Yara, but was put off when she was told details of the scene.

“I've been asked to do a [Game of Thrones](movie:817617) cameo, they asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks.”

The scene from season two episode, “The Night Remembers”, portrays Theon meeting a woman from his past upon arriving home in his native land. When they ride a horse together, he fondles her inside and outside her clothes whilst bragging about how she could get with a Lord. After the attempting wooing, Theon is left rather red-faced as he discovers the women is in fact his sister... oh my. Actress Gemma Whelan played Yara instead of Lily.

Lily didn't rule herself out of a future cameo, stating she'd be “open to doing a musical cameo, like Sigur Ros”. The Icelandic band who covered “The Rains of Castamere” for the Purple Wedding in “The Lion and the Rose” episode last month.
