Rumors have being doing the rounds that Jason Momoa has bagged himself a role in Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman for a while now, though the actor himself has denied several times that there is anything much to them. And by the sounds of it, Momoa is getting pretty fed up with having to answer that topic of speculation.
When asked recently if there was any truth to the rumors that Momoa would be appearing in the Man of Steel sequel, the Conan and Game of Thrones actor responded with this:
What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It’s so annoying. Sorry, you’re not annoying...
The beefcake continued:
You know what, I think it started when people said ‘What superhero would you play?’ And I’d say Batman and Superman, they’d be awesome together. Then people were like, ‘He’s in Batman vs. Superman!’ I’m like, I really like Lobo. ‘HE’S LOBO!!’ And then some asshole was like ‘He’s Aquaman!’ And I’m like – what did you just call me? Where the f*** do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously.. And then it shows up on the internet. Not that it’s a bad rumor.
So, that's certainly some food for thought. Khal Drogo was the king of the Dothraki Sea. Aquaman is the king of the actual sea. Both are oh-so-pretty. It totally works. I'm still refusing to believe he's out of the running. I'm still refusing to believe he's out of the running.
What do you think, fans? Has Momoa finally ended these rumors for good, or is he just toying with us? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
Batman vs. Superman is set to arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016.
If anyone, who do you think Momoa should play?
