The teaser poster for the upcoming King Conan: The Legend of Conan was spotted, and soon after tweeted, at Cannes Film Festival this year. The image shows Schwarzenegger as an aging Conan with his iconic sword.

Check it out below:

According to sources, this sequel will disregard the 2011 box office failure Conan the Barbarian with Jason Mamoa as the starring role. The movie will also be disregarding the 1984 sequel Conan the Destroyer; which actually did star Schwarzenegger. This then will make King Conan the direct sequel to the 1982 movie, Conon the Barbarian.

The movie will be released December 15 2015.

Is it just me, or does it seem too easy now to disregard movies that they don't like in a series and create a new 'real' sequel?
