Arrow's Deathstroke was a bit different from his comic book counterparts, but was such a great character that is hard to think that from now on he will just come back only for an episode every now and then, instead of being a series regular. Manu Bennett did such an amazing job playing Deathstroke and made him such a great villain for the show. But do we really know his fa for sure? He WAS injected with the cure for the Mirakuru, so does that mean that also his side effects (like the hallucinations of Shado) will disappear over time? Well in my opinion they should go with this route, as we pretty much had enough of him being so obsessed with Oliver.

So, yeah, my theory is that the side effects of the Mirakuru will vanish and he will actually understand that Shado's death wasn't actually that much of Oliver's fault (sure he will still blame him a bit, but he will actually get over her death). Then Amanda Waller will visit him and will offer him a place in her Suicide Squad (I know he wasn't a part of it in the comics, but he fits it and at the end of Batman: Arkham Origins he was actually offered to be a part of it, so it makes sense to me).

This will be the beginning of a TV Series, spin-off of Arrow, based on the Suicide Squad. He will be injected with a modified version of the Mirakuru, that will not have the side effects it had (it will pretty much the cinematographic version of the "Super Soldier" serum he was injected with in the comics) and he will become a mercenary, so that he will pretty much match his comic book counterpart.

  • He will become the leader of the group, that will obviously bring back Deadshot and Bronze Tiger from the previous version of the Squad. Michael Rowe and Michael Jai White will return as their respective characters.
  • Also Lyla Michaels (Diggle's wife) would come back as recurring, obviously played by Audrey Marie Anderson, and eventually become Harbinger like her comic book counterpart.
  • John Diggle and Arrow himself will return as guest stars.
  • Obviously Amanda Waller, played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, will return and be a series regular and will be in charge of the operations of the Squad.

Obviously there will be other members of the Squad, here some possibilities:

  • Harley Quinn

The mad lover of the Joker was already hinted in the "Suicide Squad" episode of Arrow. Some think she was just a cameo, but in my opinion her appearance in the show was something more that will eventually lead to something bigger, maybe her appearance in the Suicide Squad. In the comics she had been part of the team in the New 52 run.

She will be played (as in the cameo) by Cassidy Alexa and will be a series regular.

  • The Clock King

The Clock King was featured in one episode of [Arrow](series:720988) named "Time of Death". Such a waste that they used such a great actor as Robert Knepper for only one episode. It would be awesome to see him again as the Clock King and it makes sense as his character (more specifically William Tockman, the first Clock King) was part of the Suicide Squad during Task Force Omega. He will be the mastermind of the operations of the Squad.

He will be obviously played by Robert Knepper and will be a series regular.

  • Captain Boomerang

As the Flash series is on its way, it's pretty much safe to think that Captain Boomerang will make his appearance in the series. To make his part of the Series, it will be necessary to first introduce him in the Flash series as recurring villain in season 1 (like Count Vertigo was in Arrow) and then be captured by Flash and given in custody to A.R.G.U.S., that will make him part of the team. In the comics he had been part of the Amanda Waller's Squad.

He will be recurring or guest in season 1 and then become a series regular.

He could be played by: David Wenham (Faramir from Lord of the Rings); Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty; [Dawn of the Planet of the Apes](movie:322904)); Dustin Clare (Gannicus from Spartacus).

  • Killer Frost

Killer Frost will be in the new [The Flash](movie:15273) TV Series and Danielle Panabaker as already been cast for the role. Sure, the version of the character that joins the Suicide Squad is not Caitlin Snow, but Louise Lincoln, but I think they could easely skip on that detail in the show. Plus in the beginning of the Flash series she is part of the "Flash team" and she is a good guy, so if she in the end gets her powers and become Killer Frost, she might be one of those "gray" type of characters, that would make her perfect for the Squad. In the comics she was part of the Task Force Omega.

As Captain Boomerang, she will be recurring or guest in season 1 and then become a series regular and she will be obviously played by Danielle Panabaker.

  • Rick Flag Jr.

Rick Flag Jr. has always been one of the most known and recurring character in the Squad. He is not a villain as he works for the U.S. government and in the comics is tasked by Amanda Waller to lead the Squad. In the show he could be the one responsible for keeping the situation under the control of the government. He was part of Amanda Waller's Squad and Raise the Flag runs.

He will be a series regular.

He could be played by: Neal McDonough (Dum Dum Dugan from Captain America: The First Avenger)

  • Vixen

Also if she is mostly a superheroine, she not always works in a clean way. Her power is to mimics the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on Earth. She had been part of the Amanda Waller's Squad in the comics and she would make an interesting addition in the show. She was part of Amanda Waller's Squad.

She would be a guest or recurring in season 1 (in which it could be explored her past life as a superheroine and how she got to work in the Suicide Squad) and then become a regular.

She could be played by: Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones from Doctor Who; Law & Order: UK)

  • Nemesis

Thomas Andrew Tresser is a really interesting character and could be awesome to have him in this show. He was a vigilante, turned operative for the U.S. government and a master of disguise. He survived an helicopter crash thanks to Waller and Flag and becomes part of the Suicide Squad as a means of paying off what he perceived as a debt. He also fell in love with another member of the Squad: Nightshade. He was part of the Amanda Waller's Squad.

He would be a series regular.

He could be played by: Bradley James (Arthur Pendragon from Merlin); Ryan McPartlin (Chuck; CSI: Miami; Hart of Dixie)

  • Nightshade

Nightshade, whose real name is Eve Eden, was a government super-spy who worked for Task Force X aka Suicide Squad. Her powers are darkness manipulation, she can transform herself into living two-dimensional shadows and teleport using Land of Nightshades. She was the princess of the Land of Nightshades; Eve's mother Maureen was the queen of the Land of the Nightshades, and fled to Earth with her infant children to escape the demonic power of an entity known as the Incubus. As already stated, she become passionally involved with Nemesis. As well as most of the others, she was part of the Amanda Waller's Squad.

She could be recurring in season 1 and then become a regular.

She could be played by: Ginnifer Goodwin (Show White from Once Upon a Time)

Other possible members: Cheetah; Unknown Soldier.

So, yeah, that's pretty much it. What do you think of a TV Series about the Suicide Squad led by Deathstroke?
