Sad news Shaun of the Dead fans. Though he's been attached to the film's production since the idea was proposed in 2008, Edgar Wright has officially dropped out of the Marvel's upcoming [Ant-Man](movie:9048), which is starring Paul Rudd.

Wright told Variety that he is leaving due to creative differences he has for the film, which is no surprise when you consider how different his movies are compared to the standard Marvel Studios outing.

Marvel has stated that they already have a new director chosen, but the replacement has not yet been revealed. Also, the release date (July, 2015) has not been changed due to the shift, thank goodness!

Are you sad to see Wright go?
