It’s been reported; well most definitely news to me, that Callan Mulvey has been cast for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. He has played in a couple of movies this year. 300: Rise of an Empire and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Looks like he could be adding another comic book movie to his resume.

According to the Warner Bros. press release he “will be playing a character newly created for the film.” TMZ however caught up to him questioning him if he is playing the Joker and of course he bypasses the questions and gave a vague answer. “I can’t say anything man.” While also adding, “I’m sworn to secrecy, You’re going to have to wait and see.” Now anybody could take this simply that he could be playing another role entirely but there has been so many rumors of Joker being in the film going around that maybe it could be a possibility that Warner Bros. would want to keep it a HUGE secret.

Digging the new Batsuit!

Personally I think the new film is crowded with villains. You got Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg and I think Metallo is said to make an appearance. Currently the film will host the characters Wonder Woman, Victor Stone aka Cyborg, as well as the titular Superman and Batman. Hence the name. Throwing in Joker COULD be overkill especially after the late Heath Ledger’s performance which was stellar.

Maybe they’ll give him a cameo for a future movie set up? Maybe they’ll give him a small role? Or do you think it will be a big role to give the Dark Knight a good back story and a run for his money? Sound off in the comments.
