Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is hailed by many as the best Star Wars game of all time, and undoubtedly has the most intriguing story (sorry to all the Force Unleashed lovers out there). You can read more about why this would make a great movie here. But enough of that, onto the casting. Please note that this is for the first game only. I will do the second game at a later date.

DARTH REVAN

Revan is a fundamental character in the game, I won't go into too much detail for those who haven't played it but these are my preferred casting choices.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

The Game of Thrones star would be a good Darth Revan, he is very close to the canon look of Revan. (Even though I will not be paying attention to canon since Disney is changing it) He also has the combat props being on [Game of Thrones](movie:817617), and his acting talent would certainly bring credibility to the movie. However he is not my first choice, he's just filler.

Lupita Nyong'o

This is where I say screw canon. Having already been rumored to appear in [Star Wars: Episode VII](movie:711158) (which didn't happen :( ) it is not outside the realm of possibility to see her in a Star Wars movie. Why this role? Because the Star Wars universe needs more strong, capable female characters, and putting Lupita in a role like this would definitely make that happen. I love Lupita's acting she is brilliant, and she deserves to be a protagonist in a movie. She is my top choice for this role.

BASTILA SHAN

Ok, in the game, I don't really like the character of Bastilla, her holier-than-thou attitude and her superiority complex can be really annoying. However, bringing in an actress who knows how to kick ass could make some of her more annoying traits more bearable.

Jaimie Alexander

Hell. Yes. She is perfect for this role, she has already established her chops as a woman who can kick ass. More than this however she could hopefully bring some humanity, for lack of a better word, to the character of this Jedi Knight.

CARTH ONASI

Another annoying character is Republic Commander (I think?) Carth Onasi. He is the first character you meet in the game (that matters) and he is very duty-bound. He likes to focus on the mission at hand and prefers to keep his emotions private, not letting anyone see them.

Christian Bale

I have seen lots of people cast him as Revan before, but I disagree, I think he would make a much better Carth, he even looks like him. There's not much to this casting, Bale has just always been my first choice for Carth.

MISSION VAO

The youngest character in the game, Mission is an orphan with a surprisingly optimistic outlook on life, and a talent for slicing (the Star Wars term for hacking) computer systems.

Chloƫ Grace Moretz

The actress probably best known for portraying Hit-Girl in the Kick-Ass movies would rock this role. Anyone who has played this game can probably agree with me, and in other fan casts I've seen she is quite often cast as Mission,so I am not the only one who sees this as a possibility.

JOLEE BINDO

This cantankerous Jedi Master serves as a voice of reason in the game, oftentimes being more practical than Carth and Bastila, seeing situations the way they are, and solving them the may it makes sense.

Ron Glass

I mean, come on. Do I really need to say anything more? Not only do they look alike but it's Shepard Book.

JUHANI

Why does she not get the attention she deserves? In the game she's a fallen Jedi who your character brings back to the light side. But that's not why she deserves recognition, she deserves recognition because she is the Star Wars universes first gay character. If anyone doubts me, look it up it's true. Juhani is also a very devoted and relatable character.

Lyndie Greenwood

I've only seen her as Jenny Mills in Sleepy Hollow, but this casting seems pretty spot on to me. I love her character in Sleepy Hollow, and the role of Juhani would be something I would love to see her in.

CANDEROUS ORDO

This badass is a Mandalorian mercenary with a chip on his shoulder and a no-nonsense attitude.

Ron Perlman

I'll just leave this here.

HK-47

For this smart-ass, rampage-loving, killing machine I choose not to give him his regular voice, but rather have an actor who's no stranger to voice work talk for this fan favorite.

H. Jon Benjamin

Yes. Loyal fans of the game, imagine the voice of Sterling Archer telling you 'love' is shooting the kneecaps off a target with a sniper rifle. It's just so perfect.

DARTH MALAK

Now for the antagonist, the Sith Lord Malak.

Doug Jones

I would love to see Abe Sapien of Hellboy carrying the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith. This is the choice I am most flexible towards.

So, what do you think? Do you agree with my cast? feel free to comment with your own dream cast and changes to mine. Except for Lupita, no one can change my mind about her, she is perfect. (Sorry for the crappy picture quality)
