Greg Nicotero began his career as an assistant to legendary make up artist Tom Savini on George A. Romero's Day of the Dead in 1985. He has been at the head of the effects game for almost thirty years at this stage, creating countless numbers of zombies, monsters and ghouls and from this weekend at The Walking Dead Escape in Atlanta, you can have the honour of being made up as one too.

The event- which gives fans the chance to play a walker or a survivor- was incredibly popular at New York and San Diego's Comic Cons last year. Fans who choose to play walkers must show up two hours early where they will be given the full treatment by Nicotero's KNB EFX company. Creator Robert kirkman spoke to EW at the start of the year:

It’s an experience unlike anywhere else. You can live the kind of things you see in the comics and show and go to a place and get chased by zombies. Or go to a place and watch your friends get chased by zombies. And nobody gets eaten, which is the best of both worlds!

Grab your tickets right here and let us know if your going in the comments below. We'd love to hear about it!
