The Avengers: Age of Ultron is now less than a year away from hitting theaters. And here are 5 things that I want more than anything from the film. If you agree, disagree or have something that you want from the film to add to the list, just leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Lets get started.

1. Tony Stark

Robert Downey Jr's contract with Marvel will be complete after Avengers 3 in 2017, so with that in mind, I want Tonk Stark/Iron Man to play a very large role in Age of Ultron. After the dismantling of S.H.I.E.L.D in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973), it has been revealed, through Agent Hill in [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469) , that Stark will take over as the global protector and head of the Avengers. Even though this might take a bit of the spotlight away from some of the other characters, its still important to utilize RDJ in the best way possible before he leaves Marvel and Iron Man behind.

2. Cameos

One of the great things about Marvel is the Cameos by characters from other films, or the simple mention of the character for future projects. This is one of my favorite ways that they tie the universe together and make it a whole, and there are three characters that I really want to make an appearance in [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035):

-Pepper Pots

When we came to the first Avengers film back in 2012, RDJ was very insistent on bringing Pepper into the fold, even if it was a small, quick role. Partly to continue o build their relationship that began in the first two Iron Man films, and as another way to help keep the films tied together. Keep in mind that we may never actually get another Iron Man solo film after RDJ is finished, so this and/or Avengers 3 may be the last time we see Pepper's character.

- Jane Foster

The absence of Jane in the Avengers, to me at least, was surprising. I'm glad Thor was able to reconnect with her in The Dark World, but now that he has chosen to stay with her on Earth, I want their relationship to continue to grow as well, I think it's important to bring her character in, even if it's only one or two scenes out of the whole movie. Once again, just to keep everything in sync.

- Falcon

Finally, the most obvious, I really hope that Joss Whedon finds a way to fit Anthony Mackie into Age of Ultron. Again, it doesn't have to be a large role, cause I'm certain that they will bring him back in Captain America 3 in 2016. Just a quick cameo, one maybe two scenes.

One thing I'm very happy about, even if he isn't the best actor or the strongest character, is War Machine, or Col. Rhodes. Luckily he is set to make an appearance in the film, which I'm very excited to see how Joss Whedon handles his character and the connections with Tony and the rest of the Avengers. Cameos are the best.

3. Ultron

But not only Ultron, also the Vision. So far, when it come to artificial intelligence, we've gotten Jarvis, from Iron man, and the Dr. Zola computer in Captain America: the Winter Soldier. We know that Ultron and Jarvis are going to be characterized by their AI in Age of Ultron, and I'm just hoping that its done well, and that it translates from page to screen. Especially with the Vision, since his character will be the embodiment of Tony's Jarvis. But I'm certain that Joss Whedon will treat the film with as much care and consideration as he did in the first Avengers film.

4. The Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye Love Triangle

In the Avengers it seemed as if Black Widow and Hawkeye were close, almost a couple kind of close. Now this may be me misinterpreting their relationship, but she seemed a bit taken with him, and he with her. Unless the creators were going for a brother/sister vibe instead, where they are just looking out for one another. In The Winter Soldier, we saw Steve an Natasha getting closer, and it seemed to neglect what her and Hawkeye may or may not have had in Avengers. Basically, in Age of Ultron, I want her to choose, Cap or Hawkeye. But I'm hopin that she chooses Steve, because there are some different storylines in Marvel Comics that show their son James Rogers as a future hero, such as the animated feature the Next Avengers. And since Marvel Studios has films planned all the way through 2028, it gives me hope that we could see a Next Avengers film featuring the children of the Avengers. Just something to consider!

5. Thanos

Finally we have Thanos, who up until now has only made a brief appearance in the end-credits scene of the Avengers. We do know that he will be featured in some way in [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073) later this year, but if they are building up to the Infinity Gauntlet for [The Avengers 3](movie:738027), then they need to continue to show hints of Thanos in Age of Ultron. At the very least he needs to be more prominently featured in the end-credits scene. Of course when he is finally seen in his full power, it will be a big moment for the Avengers, but we still want a bit of information, for instance, how does he plan to retrieve the infinity stones? Just something else to consider, and like the other characters I mentioned, it doesn't need to be a large role, just one scene can do the trick, and help keep the universe tied together and the underlying story moving.

This is what I want from Avengers: Age of Ultron next Summer, I hope you all want this too. For me, keeping the Marvel Cinematic Universe constantly intertwining, whether it be through characters or objects, plots and subplots is what will make this the best film franchise ever, of that I have no doubt.

But what do you think? Write in with your thoughts below the line!
