When I see discussions and speculations on what the “spin off” Star Wars movies will be about, every time I see a “Boba Fett movie would be awesome” “They have to do a Boba fett movie” I do nothing but shake my head. I really had hoped that fan boys would have learned after [Star Trek Into Darkness](movie:37722) came out. Most Trekkies I know said the exact same things being said about Boba Fett now, they were clamoring for Khan to be a part of the new movie. Once Into Darkness came out most fans were sadly disappointed in the choices made for Khan.

I could see the same things happening if they decide to open the can of worms that is a [Boba Fett Movie](movie:857671), leave what made him such a legendary part of the original trilogy alone, the mystery! If the choices that the studio makes do not live up to the hype of the character it will lead to nothing but disappointment.

**On a side note Benedict Cumberbatch would make a bad ass sith character**

What would be better served by a spin off movie would be something that would expand on the Mandalorian's themselves! Mandalorian's have some bad ass armor and a culture revolved around battle, with war being a source of honor and pride in their community. The Mandalorians were frequently allied with the Sith, they would not hesitate to cooperate with the Jedi if a partnership between the two groups was mutually beneficial.

It could even lead to a movie based off one of the most beloved Star Wars video games of all time (The Old Republic). Having a movie that shows some of the MANY wars that the Mandalorians were involved in would lead to an expansion of the back story of Boba Fett with out ruining the character from the original trilogy! How many of us were disappointed when the prequels came out and they showed one of the most bad ass villains of all time in Vader, really being a whiny love sick teenager?

But do you agree? What storyline do you most want to see in the [Stand-Alone Star Wars Movie](movie:854980)? Get involved with the discussion below!
