X-men are one of my favourite Marvel superheroes by far. I love each and every mutant and i love how unique they are with their powers. I like how each X-men film introduces us to new characters
Days of Future Past', was an excellent film because of multiple reasons. I am happy we get to see into the future of X-men and see what happened when the Sentinels took over. I pleased that this film allowed us to experience once again seeing young Professor X and Magneto as i really enjoyed 'X-men First Class' and the whole start of how X-men began.
The story-line in this film was good and didn't lack at all. There were some parts to this film at times when it was slow and the film was a little too long but at the same time it didn't feel over done. I like how the ending of the film summed up that anything that happened in the past changed the future therefore making it look like nothing ever happened. As in X-men films 1-3 never existed and that the franchise would begin again.
There was more history behind this film and we got to learn more about the characters, how Mystique went solo after Magneto, what happened to Professor X's legs and how he lost his powers and how he had to give up his legs in order to use them again and what happened to his school.
My favourite scene in this film and should i say character in 'Day's of Future Past' was Quicksilver he is such a bad ass character and was very funny. I loved the scene when they were trying to get Magneto and he went fast around the officers moving their hands and guns around. He's an amazing character and it was nice to get introduced to him, i wish we could see more of him later.
I think First Class is one of the best X-men films made along with 'Day's of Future Past'. I would have to say there both as good as each other and that they are worth the watch. However First Class stands first for me.
The end credits of the film is leading us up to something amazing and a whole nother level in the Marvel Universe. The Apocalypse is coming and get ready it's going to be good!
