On a recent podcast with Happy Sad Confused, Guardians of the Galaxy star Lee Pace discussed just how uncertain he is about his upcoming character and main villain behind the film: Ronan the Accuser.
I’m really curious what the fans, in particular, will make of Ronan the Accuser…. I don’t know what to expect out of watching this movie.
Often times, when your starring in a film, you get to see the scenes that you are in, and those scenes only. Could his lack of expectation for the film mean Ronan's role is much more minimal than we had all thought? After all, Ronan wasn't even seen in the first trailer for the movie, remember?
I know what I did when we were filming it. I know I had a good time with it. I have no idea. I don’t know what this movie is going to be.
This seriously sounds like the kind of actor who plays a character who is little more than a cameo in the movie, or an actor who is playing dumb simply to keep the hype up and the information low, which seems to be a very common strategy from Marvel Studios films' cast.
What do you think? Playing coy or or did he just play a cameo?
