The trailer for [Song of the Sea](movie:1466128) has just been released. This is the hugely anticipated follow-up from director Tomm Moore, who's first animated feature, The Secret of Kells, competed alongside Pixar's Up and Henry Selick's Coraline at the Oscars a few years ago.

Using the mythology of Selkies, a tale from Irish folklore, the story follows the beings as they drift between being human on land and seals in the water. The story will follow Ben and Saoirse, two of the younger Selkie who decide to go on an adventure together.

Given that the piece has attracted such Irish greats as Brendan Gleeson, Lisa Hannigan and Pat Shortt to name a few, I think we could be in for something special with Song of the Sea.
