"You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They'll race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. In time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders." --Jor-El
Thank you, Russell Crowe! Take back time!
At the very least, it did indirectly hint at the Justice League. What if it was directly?
Ideal to Strive Towards
That basically is what other heroes in the [Justice League](movie:401267) do on a daily basis: striving towards an ideal--truth, justice, and the American way.
Superman was supposed to be the beacon of hope for the other heroes and vigilantes. To inspire others was his job and with the superheroes coming out of hiding, it won't be long before a team is formed--the Justice League.
They Will Race Behind You
He's been said to be a lock for the so-called "overcrowded" Man of Steel sequel [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870). According to Variety, anyway. Plus, the Flash and Superman have always argued which one is faster.
They Will Stumble
It's a long shot, but Arthur Curry experienced isolation as much as Superman. He stumbled until he found his way to Atlantis--his home.
They Will Fall
By the way, this should be advice for the Green Lantern movie.
"Why do you fall, Warner Brothers? So you can learn to be successful."
Join You in the Sun
The bigger you are, the faster you burn.
This was the climax of the 2011 movie, for those who haven't watched it. Kilowog said that in the aggressive training of the poozer above, which gave Hal the idea.
[Wonder Woman](movie:45787). (Though you probably guessed.)
Yes, the Amazonian herself is the last to be hinted.
You probably think I'm crazy, clever, or meh. I thought it was fun to shortly think this through, so let me know what you thought.
Was the Man of Steel trailer meant to hint at the Justice League?
