X-Men: Days of Future Past almost featured one of the comics most beloved characters - a certain Jubilation 'Jubilee' Lee. Providing a glimpse of the direction the film almost went in, a newly released set of concept art from the film has revealed that Jubilee was seriously considered to appear in the movie.

You can check out the images - originally featured at Concept Art World - below:

Jubilee has, in fact, already appeared in the previous three X-Movies, with Katrina Florece taking the cameo duties in X-Men, before Kea Wong took over with X2 and The Last Stand. This would, from the looks of it, have been her first major appearance, however.

The question is, who was she replaced by? The artist of the above images, Phillip Boutte Jr, also produced concept art for Warpath and Blink, so they both seem to have been considered from early stages. Was Sunspot originally not planned to feature, though? And if the final cast wasn't set in stone for plot reasons, is there anyone who would have been more fun to see?

[X-Men: Days Of Future Past](movie:203942) is on general release now.
