A movie as huge as [Star Wars: Episode VII](movie:711158) was always going to be one leaky space vessel. Even the super-secret J.J. Abrams can't stop every single leak originating from the set of the eagerly awaited sequel. He can, however, respond to leaks with an awesome leak of his own.
Recently, gossip site TMZ has been getting its hands on a whole host of illicit Star Wars: Episode VII set photos. Some have shown Tatooine, while others have shown the Millennium Falcon under construction. In light of these leaks, J.J. Abrams took to Twitter to spread a special disclaimer. Check it out below:
Does that background look familiar? Well, look a little closer. Yep, that's right. It's the holographic chess board from the Millennium Falcon! That's some first class trolling, Abrams!
In this sense, Abrams is almost officially confirming the Falcon will be in Star Wars: Episode VII - albeit, by directing stating it isn't in the movie. To be honest, this isn't much of a shock. We always expected the Millennium Falcon would be making an appearance, although it's nice to be able to rest easy knowing we were right.
Perhaps Chewie and R2D2 will have a rematch?
Are you little annoyed the Millennium Falcon secret is out? Wouldn't it have been a great surprise to see it whoosh onto the big screen unexpectedly?
Would you rather the Millennium Falcon reveal was a surprise?
