Actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Sir Patrick Stewart and Toby Jones have revoiced the news bulletin scripts that were read out as the Allied forces landed in Normandy for D-Day 70 years ago. Part of a series anniversary events, which has seen thousands flock to beaches, cemeteries and villages linked to the momentous landings, the bulletins were read out at the same time of day as the original broadcast on 6 June 1944. Multiple heads of states, including the Queen and President Obama will be on Sword Beach near Ouistreham, one of the five battle zones on Normandy's coastline on June 6, 1944. The gathering in Normandy for an emotional ceremony expected to be the pinnacle of events marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
