The early word on Tom Cruise's latest, Edge of Tomorrow was not all that noteworthy, really lukewarm. The Groundhog Day plot mixed with a sci-fi element was not really inspiring people to want to see it and a last minute title change (from All You Need Is Kill) was generating plot confusion.
However, the reviews have been stellar. The marketing department has been using them to draw some advance buzz. Still, Edge of Tomorrow is forecast to be a close second to the teen death and dying romance The Fault In Our Stars.
The studio released some seriously nice concept art for Edge of Tomorrow done by Tim Browning (John Carter, The Eagle) that might just change your mind. The aircraft and weaponry illustrations are particularly cool.
