With the highly anticipated third season of "Arrow" and the upcoming show "The Flash", the idea of a shared universe of DC films leaves the door open for the television. Which is where DC is beating Marvel. With the lukewarm first season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", DC has the high ground in the t.v. market.

Arrow is a critical and ratings blockbuster. With season two introducing Barry Allen and superpowers into the show. They also have Black Canary, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, and mentions Ra's al Ghul. To name a few. If DC chooses to have Green Arrow and The Flash as t.v. properties, they can focus on the overall Justice League story.

Gotham is meant to serve as a prequel to Batman focusing on then Lt. Gordon trying to solve the Thomas and Martha Wayne murders. If DC chooses to skip a Batman origin movie and focus his origin on Gotham, they could focus on Batman in the Justice League.

Should Arrow and The Flash join the DCCU?

Should DC skip a Batman origin movie and use Gotham instead?
