It has been a long time since I have done a CRAVE post. And I'm glad to be back giving you a new kind of CRAVE post: A Top Ten CRAVE! It's a top ten list of the Superhero movies I CRAVE! This includes reboots as well! Let us get started!
Number 10: Ms. Marvel
Air Force veteran Carol Danvers, encountered the alien Kree Empire and was turned into a half-Kree superhuman hybird. The fourth person to be known as Captain Marvel, she has the power to absorb energy and release it as destructive photon blast. She is also known to be Spider-man's partner in the New Avengers!
Why do we CRAVE this sexy hero? She is a major character in the Marvel Universe, so why not just add her in! I would love to see her along side the Avengers in the future, but a solo movie would be even better. I'm sure everyone else wouldn't mind also!
Number 9: Black Panther
The crown prince of Wakanda, the Black Panther is the richest and one of the coolest heroes ever! Called "The Batman of Marvel", Black Panther is the ruler of a country in Africa called Wakanda, which has the most vibranium in the world which is what most makes him so rich. His father and the rest of his tribe were killed by the villain The Claw and he vowed nothing like that would ever happen, so he became the Black Panther!
The odds of him appearing as a cameo or just being mentioned in Avengers: Age of Ultron are super high! This is because Ultron is associated with the indestructible metal vibranium (which is in Wakanda), so he will most likely need to go to Wakanda to get some. But, I want not just a cameo, I want a solo movie! It is rumored to come in 2016, but we will see. And it will happen! (I hope)
Number 8: The Flash
Of course I know that there is the Flash TV series coming to the CW, but I want that movie. Most of you know the story of the Flash, so I'm not going to bore you to death. I think that a Flash movie will be more successful than the TV series. That is just my personal opinion, but either way were getting Flash, but a movie is what I'm CRAVING!
Number 7: Teen Titans
Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven, Red Arrow, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, Hawk, Dove, Omen, Guardians, Harlequin, and many others. The most popular being Robin, Starfire, Cybrog, Beast Boy and Raven. Best known for the super loved Cartoon Network show Teen Titans, they are a group of teens with powers, training to become the big heroes of tomorrow. Their biggest threat, Deathstroke despises this and wants to kill the Teens.
This just sounds awesome for a movie! Especially, seeing Beast Boy turn into different animals on the big screen and kicking the crap out of everyone! This could also lead to a Young Justice movie and to see the teens take over the jobs of the Justice League! Just think how cool that would be!
Number 6: Dr. Strange
Doctor Stephen Strange is a brilliant neurosurgeon who lost his ability to perform surgery after a car crash. He then learned mystic arts to become Earth's Sorcerer Supreme. He can communicate telepathically, fly and project his body on the astral plane.
He was already teased in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and in Spider-man 2, but that just isn't enough. Dr. Strange is a big member of the Avengers and is just so cool he needs his own movie. Strange has a great arsenal of villains, including his arch-enemy Dormammu. So, why not include him in the Avengers 3 and in his own movie? Listen up Marvel!
Number 5: Daredevil
In 2003, 20th Century Fox gave us Ben Affleck as Daredevil. This ended in a disappointing movie and a superhero that needs a serious reboot! Matt Murdoch, a blind lawyer who fights crime in his down time, uses echo-location to see and has the best reflexes in the Marvel Universe.
Now that Marvel Studios has Daredevil back it's time to get started! Daredevil isn't really know for being with the Avengers, just being an amazing hero with amazing villains, like Kingpin and Bullseye. I know people would love to see Daredevil back and maybe we could get him involved in the MCU. It's just a thought!
Number 4: Silver Surfer
First introduced to us in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (which I actually enjoyed), Norrin Radd is from the planet Zenn-La which was destroyed by Galactus. Norrin made a deal with Galactus, if Galactus spared his planet, he would be the servant to Galactus helping him find other planets to eat. He eventually becomes the hero Silver Surfer when he helps the Fantastic Four fight off Galactus from eating Earth.
This is a super cool and just bad-a** hero who deserves some better spot light. He would make a really good plot maker for an Avenger movie. Maybe a plot centering around his board which is his source of power. But, a solo movie for him would be out of this world. Give him a good origin story and a great battle against some enemies and I'll be happy as a peach!
Number 3: Green Lantern
In 2011, Warner Brothers gave us Green Lantern. I loved the movie, but it didn't make too many people happy. A lot of people already know Lantern's story, so I won't waste your time. Now there is already rumors of a sequel with Ryan Reynolds, but there is no set date. We need a Lantern movie again, I'm not talking about him being in Batman v. Superman, I'm talking about a full on great solo Lantern movie. I'm sure most will agree with me on this one because it's what we all CRAVE!
Number 2: Shazam
Who? One of DC's not very well know heroes, but one of the coolest ever. But, before DC, Shazam was called Captain Marvel when he was with Fawcett Comics. But, due to copyright problems with both Marvel and DC, the hero was given to DC and the name was changed to Shazam! Billy Batson is a 12 year-old paper boy who was given the powers of Shazam by a wizard named Shazam. When ever Billy speaks the words Shazam, a bolt of lighting is blasted on him and he turns into the adult superhero Captain Marvel (now called Shazam).
Now that you know more about Shazam, lets talk about a movie. A movie was under production with Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam (a bad version of Shazam and one of the best villains ever), but the movie was then abandoned. Shazam was the first ever superhero to get his own movie back in 1941. But, now it's time for him to shine again, especially since that Justice League movie is coming in the future. So, DC lets do it!
Number 1: Deadpool
Was there any doubt? Of course not, on my last Pollurnament Deadpool won the Most Anticipated Superhero Movie. You probably already know his story as well, but Deadpool really does need his own movie. He is an anti-hero that is one of the most entertaining characters of all time. Most notably working with (or against) the X-Men, he was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine played by Ryan Reynolds, everyone hated that fact that he had no mouth and weird arm swords. So, Fox please......for the fanboys!
Thank you all for reading! Check out the rest of my CRAVE series and my Pollurnaments. Comment, take the poll and give me some ideas of things I can write next! Thank you!
