22 Jump Street stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum brought their combined star power to the Poconos this weekend, in order to really rev some engines!
Hill and Tatum were chosen as grand marshals for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race and had a "Welcome to NASCAR" moment at high speed on Sunday at Pocono Raceway.
In fact, their trip to Pocono may have yielded a potential storyline for yet another sequel, where Tatum and Hill get so scared riding along with NASCAR star Danica Patrick in a pace car ride that they want to jump out of the car. Tatum commented:
Danica took us out and almost flipped the car... That's not a joke. She's so stone cold all the time, and she goes, 'Oh, I almost lost it there.' And we were like, 'What? What? What did you say?'
Have a giggle for yourselves:
Well, I'm definitely glad they didn't end up dead, because 22 Jump Street arrives in theaters June 13, and is the much-anticipated sequel to their 2012 comedy outing. This time, they're chasing drug dealers by pretending to be college students on spring break... Let's hope they picked up some racing tips at the track!
Is there a script to be had in Tatum and Hill's near death racetrack adventures?
