We still have a long few months to go before Season 3 of "Arrow" premieres on the CW, but that doesn't mean we can't salivate over the new characters we're bound to see.

Four of them have already been spoiled for us, courtesy of TVLine, and one of the characters listed is widely believed to secretly be the Blue Beetle. Let's review!

#1 Daniel

Described as a "handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur" in his 20s, Daniel is believed by many to secretly be Ted Kord (aka the Blue Beetle, with "Daniel" being a reference to the Golden Age version of BB). This is because he is also described as a man with a "private past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero."

That certainly sounds like the Blue Beetle, and it would be fun to see him get "cozy" with Felicity. Still, I honestly hope they go with Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle over Ted Kord's (because aliens).

My own guess is that he's Booster Gold, since rumor has it BG is in the running for his own CW show. One can only dream.

#2 Seth

This next character is a "well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry." He can also expose his enemies "to a drug that drains their willpower." Scarecrow, anyone? This wouldn't be the first time "Arrow" brought in a Batman villain. Though Fox's "Gotham" might introduce some continuity confusions we're just not ready for if they also plan to bring the Scarecrow to television.

#3 Toshi

At the end of Season 2, we learned that Oliver made it off of the island and was in Hong Kong for a while with Amanda Waller. During his time there, he'll be mentored by Toshi, a "late 20s/early 30s" teacher and handler for Oliver. He's clearly the man behind Oliver's knowledge of tactics and "intelligence gathering." I honestly can't think of anyone specific Toshi might be a reference to, so he might end up being an original character.

#4 Akiko

Akiko is Toshi's wife and the mother of his children. She is also combat-trained and will likely support Oliver's training in Hong Kong. My best guess is that Akiko may be Katana, whom I can't really describe here without spoiling what may become of the story. Look her up at your own risk.
