Vin Diesel is a man with a busy schedule. In between lip-syncing to Katy Perry and DIY motivational Facebook posts, the actor also somehow finds time to be a dick on the Fast & Furious 7 set.

Apparently there's a different side to Vin Diesel that is carefully hidden from his fans, a side that makes him so toxic to deal with that some on the set of[Fast & Furious 7](movie:264263) would like him to just leave, full stop.

Animosity for Vin is so great that The Hollywood Reporter went so far as to state that:

Some on set have fantasized about using the facial-replacement technology being deployed to put Paul Walker in the film for Diesel as well

Wow. That's some fighting talk - not to mention disrespectful.

Is it just me, or is this one step away from saying they hope Diesel dies in a disastrous car wreck?

So, what exactly is the problem with Vin? Details so far are hazy but an insider has claimed that Diesel is isolating himself and refusing to work. A source told Hollywood Reporter that;

Vin spent a whole day in his trailer one day. The next day, they waited four hours for him. He called a meeting of studio execs to his trailer for two-and-a-half hours to say, 'What the f— am I doing here?' and the next day, work was done with doubles

Another source from the set "confirms that progress has been frustrating" and that the crew has been suffering from "low morale".

This report is all well and good, but is it just me, or has everyone forgotten the highly emotive and difficult circumstances that surround F&F 7?

If Vin really is being difficult on set and taking days off shooting, surely it has something to do with the death of his 'brother' Paul Walker?

Working on a movie about dangerous car chases when your best friend and co-star was killed in a crash must be tantamount to emotional torture. Not to mention the added strain that Vin must be under having to perform scenes addressing Walker's character when there are body doubles in Paul's place.

I can totally see how he would ask himself 'what the f**k am I doing here?' some days.

I think we need to give Vin Diesel respect for continuing on and completing such a difficult movie, not throw rumors at him.

I'm convinced that Vin Diesel has a good reason for his behavior, but I'm not sure about these other actors and actresses who have had on set meltdowns...

Here are 5 more stars who behaved badly

5. Ball-Busting Bale

Circumstances: Christian Bale totally lost his s**t on the set of Terminator Salvation because the art director accidentally walked into the shot. Maybe he was having a premonition about just how bad the movie would be?

Best line: I want you off set, you f**king prick!

4. Righteous Redford

Robert Redford is a true Hollywood heavyweight and he seems to think he has earned his right to damned well act like one! During filming of [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973) Redford would only perform lines that he had pre-approved himself, and he thought nothing of changing the script to suit him. I've heard about back-seat directors before, but a back-seat scriptwriter is new to me!

3. Brash Baldwin

Alec Baldwin is well known for his explosive rage. The press, his ex wife and even his 11-year-old daughter have been at the receiving end of his colossal temper tantrums, and it seems he carries them with him on set too.

On a Reddit post about badly behaved Hollywood stars, a runner working on a film with Baldwin was less than complimentary about his behavior.

This behavior was on a film set, but Alec Baldwin had constant tantrums, screamed at a young female PA until she cried, put his fist through the wall of a trailer, and overturned the craft services table.

2. Whining Willis

Bruce Willis is such a nightmare on set that director Kevin Smith branded him as "soul crushing to work with". Although there aren't any videos of Willis letting rip on set, I think this excruciatingly rude interview can give us all an insight.

1. Linsanity Lohan

If Lindsay Lohan gets this pissed off about piles of clothes that other people have moved to her apartment for her, can you imagine how irate she gets about being on time?!

During the filming of [The Canyons](movie:677203) Lohan was constantly late - sometimes not showing up at all - and about as erratic and demanding as a Mariah Carey/JLo hybrid. She drank, she smoked, she cried and, bizarrely, she also ripped up a magazine cover featuring director Oliver Stone in a fit of rage. Just your average day of Linsanity!

Who do you think is the worst behaved celebrity out there?
