Mothra was a 1961 Japanese kaiju film released by the famed Japanese studio Toho, and was distributed in America by Columbia pictures. Mothra appeared in several other films, even fighting Godzilla on many occasions.

However, this question must be asked: Should Mothra have a reboot, and if so, should it be better than the original version?

If there would be a reboot, than it would probably be released in either Fall 2017 or Summer 2018.

It would probably be made by the same distributor as the 2014 reboot of Godzilla, and it could have stars like Bryan Cranston (as a scientist), Harrison Ford (as a military commander), and Morgan Freeman (as the President of the United States). Mothra would probably be voiced by Andy Serkis, known for doing the voices of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings and King Kong in King Kong.

The plot should go like this: Mothra is born from an egg hatched by a rare volcano, and after it matures, it attacks the United States, where a scientist and a military commander team up in order to defeat the monster. The President of the United States than tries to declare an executive order calling for complete investigation on the monster's origins.
