I guess you could say The Fault In Our Stars brought a tear to my eye, but that would be lying. It didn't just bring a single tear, it brought an entire ocean. That movie was well worth the wait as it had everything I'd hoped it would. Shailene Woodly and Ansel Elgort brought the book to life so beautifully that I'm not even sure if that was really acting.
The story of Hazel and Augustus is as Hazel says, "an epic lovestory", and Shailene and Ansel played it to perfection!
Shailene's portrayal of Hazel Grace Lancaster was an incredible, tear jerking performance. Brilliant does not even begin to cover it.
Ansel Elgort who played the charming Augustus Waters was just amazing, even though it was a sobfest, he still managed to bring a smile to my face.
Despite all the tears, there was still room for a laugh or two.
In my opinion The Fault In Our Stars was kinda like the Titanic of our generation, a tragic but beautiful love story. Friendship, love, loss, it had it all. I doubt I'm gonna stop crying for a very long time. Every single part of that movie was perfect, right down to the very last, okay.
