Despite the pile of evidence which sits very much to the contrary, Steven Soderbergh has claimed he's been retired since January of last year. Upon this supposed retirement he gave a terrific state of the industry speech. It was articulate and impassioned and provided a great example of the director's pure film mind.
We've been keen to hear more ever since and today we're delighted to get another taste. The hard working folk at Film School Thru Commentaries have combed through DVD extra features to pick out the best bits, and have posted a couple of long form interviews this week.
