On Friday 13th in Leeds, England, a horror fan in dressed as Jason Voorhees was set upon by police with guns and dogs after patrons at his local bar thought his weapons were real!

Shaun McKeon, 26, had been at a horror-themed party - well, it was Friday 13th, after all - so arrived at the pub, The Angel Inn, in full Jason Voorhees costume.

McKeon was rocking 'a utility belt with fake weapons including a machete, hunting knife and throwing darts' when police apprehended him.

Still, it's better that a guy in a costume gets an amusing police-themed story to tell than a psycho armed to the teeth is allowed to wander free...But COME ON!

It must have been fairly obvious that McKeon was just a dude in fancy dress! Especially on Friday 13th. I guess there weren't many other horror fans in the vicinity...
