When this banner appeared on the internet (presumably from Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2014, although it could be from anywhere, or indeed a fake) it sparked discussion about a new animated series for the Dark Knight.

After Beware the Batman was moved to Adult Swim's Toonami, it wasn't going to be long before a new show took its place. Cartoon Network isn't going to give up on the popularity of this iconic superhero any time soon!

What does this mean for the direction the show is taking? Having moved the previous one to Adult Swim, I'm thinking that it was decided that Beware the Batman would appeal to a more mature audience (an audience up at 3am, anyway!). In that case, is the new Ultimate Batman going to be aimed more towards kids, like Teen Titans Go?

Personally, from looking at both the title and the artwork on the banner, I'm wondering if this will be a new spin-off of Justice League Unlimited, which aired from 2001 to 2006.
