Gal Gadot's appointment as Wonder Woman has excited and divided fans in equal measure.

Some cannot wait for Zack Snyder's upcoming [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) film, and think the Israeli actress in the perfect choice.

Others, however, are not so keen, believing the Fast & Furious star to have the wrong stature to play an Amazonian Warrior Queen.

But wherever you stand, the one thing almost all fans are waiting for is to see the costume she will wear. Will it be a modern look, or a classic one? Or something in-between? Well, not only has the movie's director Zack Snyder recently spoken about being amazed when he saw the suit for the first time, but we a leaked internet theory has given us our first hints as to what the costume itself might look.

We'll address Snyder first. In a recent interview, he spoke about seeing the Superman, Batman and [Wonder Woman](movie:45787) suits displayed side by side, ready to appear in a movie together for the first time:

Batman and Superman standing next to each other... [I]t's kind of epic. You do sort of sense the weight of the pop culture iconography jumping out of its skin when you're standing there looking at the two of them and Wonder Woman. It's crazy. But it's fun. I mean, I have the first photo, I've got it in my archive because I was like, "Okay, I better keep this, it's gonna be worth something"

How many fans would like to get their hand on that photo?

But as for the costume itself, the theory that is gaining the most traction at the moment is that it is a sort of halfway house between the classic and the modern look, somethign based upon Wonder Woman's appearance in the Injustice: God Among Us video game.
