The greatest trick Joss Whedon pulled with The Avengers was that, through all that razor sharp wit and banter, he managed to let us forget the great gaping gulf in the superheroes' powers. An unstoppable rage monster and a Norse god lining up beside a Russian martial artist and a guy with a bow? Tricky to say the least.
So would this gap remain so apparent in Age of Ultron? If sources are to be believed, perhaps the answer is No. Insiders have revealed that Scarlet Johanson's Black Widow will be getting some flash new kit, as Joblo reports:
Black Widow's costume update will feature not only the previously reported batons, but her suit is said to be more "TRON-style" in nature with blue lights and electricity around the suit. Her enemies will now receive electric shocks or a "widow's sting" when she hits them, giving her more of a "superhero" edge amongst her super-powered counterparts.
Will this bridge the gap and allow Natalia Romanova to make a bigger impact? Let us know your thoughts below.
