Opening in theaters this past Friday we got Think Like a Man Too the sequel to the 2012 film of the same name, and also the release of Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of the musical Jersey Boys. While Think Like a Man Too managed to just barely hold onto the number one spot by an estimated 1 million. Which honestly shows how audiences are still rushing out to see 22 Jump Street in theaters and that people can’t seem to get enough of Hill and Tatum duo. But honestly with Think Like a Man Too I’m honestly quite baffled that it even exists as the first film, while having it’s funny moments, I still didn’t see anywhere they could take these characters that would actually warrant a sequel. Or even that this film had that big of an audience that it actually managed to open up at number one. Now Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys did not fare as well at all, not only did the film open up in fourth place, the film also didn’t even manage to make 15 million. And ever since May 23rd′s weekend I’ve notice the opening numbers drop substantially every week, which simply has to do with what’s been opening as well as the time of the month. But I definitely see a huge leap in box office numbers this coming weekend as we will see the fourth Transformers film open which is a series that has always managed to perform quite nicely at the box office.
