Mark Ruffalo is a pretty awesome dude. Not only does he obviously take as much pleasure in being The Hulk as we all do in watching him play him, but he's got exactly the sort of playful sense of humor that we all love in Robert Downey Jr.
Now, though, he's taking that awesome-ness up a notch - using his role in Avengers: Age of Ultron to help save the world - and give one lucky person a chance to visit the set in the process.
You might already know about Ruffalo's work with the non-profit Water Defense, an organization dedicated keeping our water free from contamination - thus avoiding the huge numbers of annual deaths that result from it. Well, in order to raise money for them, Ruffalo has been auctioning off the chance to visit the Avengers set (as we mentioned before), and to spend a day with him.
Donate $5 to Water Defense, and you get an entry into the contest - the winner of which gets to hang out with The Hulk. There are also thank you gifts for higher levels of donation, including signed posters, thank you e-cards and personal birthday messages from Ruffalo himself.
The best part? It's already raised over £110,000, on it's way to a target of £120,000 - and if you want to help out, and be in with a chance of accidentally bumping in to Joss Whedon, you can do so right here.
[The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) is currently set for release May 1, 2015.
What do you guys think? Up for a set visit?
